Water in architecture

The Sailing Centre is located on the lakeshore waterfront with a T-shape wooden pier. This compact minimalistic building is planned on two storeys, connected by the indoor elevator and exterior stairs. The ground floor accommodates storage facilities and changing rooms. The upper floor, with an open plan layout containing the Jacht club area, is available for spectators and clients. This principle level has large sheltered triangle terraces. The large curved roof with parallel terraces create the contemporary architectural form oriented towards water. The Sailing Center provides sailing courses, water sports shows, and boating championships.
